Many of you have noticed that we've been working on our security. This effort started almost two weeks ago. During this time we had a problem getting our SSL certificate to work properly. For those of you who aren't sure what an SSL certificate is for, it serves two purposes on our website: 1) Encrypt the connection between our website and your computer to protect your username and password when logging onto the site, and 2) Employ a third party certificate issuing company to verify the identity of the website you're visiting.
The problem we were having affected our SSL certificate's job to verify our identity on some of our visitor's browsers. The encryption part was working the whole time while this identity verification problem was going on which means that all login activity with the site was secure.
We figured out the problem and our SSL certificate is now working properly.
