Lamictal Dosage

Hey everyone,
I'm currently increasing my dosage up of Lamictal and have to take 100mg for this week and will eventually be at 200mg in a few weeks. I have 25mg tabs.
On my prescription for this week it says:
Take two twice a day for one week.
Simple question, but do I really have to take 2, twice a day?
Can I not just take 4 in the morning? I wouldn't consider this if I wasnt sure that I will forget to take the second dose if I have to take it later in the day.
Does it really matter? surely it doesnt seeing as they have a certain half life anyway?
Any help will be appreciated.

Maybe your pharmacist can shed light on why twice a day. I would just do as prescribed until you know whether or not there is a difference. I take my 200 once a day.

I am also confused to read this prescribed twice a day. I think once in a day is enough. Anyway you should discuss this again with your pharmacist.

call your doctor and pharmacist if you are unsure as to how many times to take it that's what they are there for .
