I have a problem with sleeping too much. I feel good if I get 10+ hours a night. Then I still end up napping at least an hour to two hours. I take my main meds at night because they help me sleep and one in the AM for depression. The depression med does not work because I'm not really able to function, I just want to sleep. I cant do that because I have two kids and I'm a stay at home mom. It was ok when my son was younger because I would sleep when he took a nap. Now I fight to stay awake all day. I have talked to my doc about this but he has not come up with an answer to this problem I see him again in a few weeks and I'm going to talk to him about Seroquel XR . Well I kinda just wanted to see if anyone else has this problem. TTFN

I am also a stay at home mom of 2 kids. I had this problem when I had only 1 child. I would sleep like 10+ hours at night and nap when she napped. Once my son came along I couldn't get enough done when I napped. So I stopped the nap time for me. It was hard at first, especially when I had med changes (I started meds when my son was 3 months old.) But when I stopped the naps and tried to lessen the amount of time I slept at night, I started to feel alot better, my depression (im bipolar) eased up and I was able to focus a bit better. (When I get only 9 hours of sleep). I hope it helps to know you aren't the only one.
