peri-menopause

I don't know too much about menopause except for hot flashes.
I'm in peri-menopause and have been for a few years.
Would existing depression be made worse with peri-menopause?
I don't know how knowledgeable my family doctor is about it.
Could someone shed some light on this topic?

I believe I am in perimenopause too. But like you don't really have anyone to discuss it with who would be paying any attention to that part of me something eye opening for us on the subject would great caring and eye opening maybe.
