Idiot said something stupid and I didn't bite his head off and I am struggling like crazy right now. I have to keep reminding myself that I am not a total loser that is about to get fired for her complete and total incompetence. I have to carry Kleenex in my pockets for those times when I may burst into tears. I haven't yet and I am also very proud of that. Working when you are depressed is rough but I'm hanging in there.

Difficult one this isn't it? Sometimes you feel you just have to tell the idiots that they're just that, idiots. But that can come at a price because it upsets not just them, but maybe you also. Other times you have to bite your tongue which means they get away with it and you end up stewing over it and feel like #@$%&* for ages afterwards. Either way, you lose both times. Therefore, I always feel that on balance, it's best to tell them where to get off.
If you force a man into an oppressed environment, he is bound to react.
