BP2 OR GAD ?

I have had depression and Gad since I was 21,i am now 43. I am really considering it to be BP2 awaiting physiatrist referral. Does anyone know if anxiety is a form of rapid cycling ? symptoms are keyed up, palpitations and feeling on edge. I am currently on 2 antidepressants.
Current medications as of 04-16-2014
| 03-30-2014 - Present: | sertraline, 100mg. one a day |
| 04-01-2014 - Present: | mirtazapine, 15mg. one at night |

yes anxiety can be part of bipolar disorder the hard thing about bipolar is it takes a long time to figure out the right combination to treat it it has so many symptoms both psychical and psychological that it is very hard to manage , inshaallah you find a great doctor who will listen and is willing to help find the right treatment plan for you

Also if you're bipolar the antidepressants can be causing you to become manic. You have to be careful with the dosing of antidepressants.
The mayo clinic has a great website listing the symptoms of bipolar 1 & 2, mixed episodes and rapid cycling. Just Google it.
I hope you can get in to see your Dr soon. Hopefully you're already in therapy for the depression and GAD. That is usually very helpful.
