Lamictal causing more anxiety?

Helly everyone, I'm new to the fourm and would like to introduce myself as Jean! :)
Here is a tad bit of information about me
I was diagnosed Schizoaffective 7 years ago. Prior to that I was diganosed withgeneralized anxiety disorder. I am also bi polar too.
Well, they recently put me on lamictal(25mg for now) for depression and anxiety.
I feel as if the lamictal is causing me more anxiety than I already have! My questions to you are.
* Will the side effects( anxiety) go away after it fully kicks in?
* has it helped anyone with depression and anxiety?
* What is everyones experience with this medicine?
I'm already on clozaral, klonapin and now, Lamictal.

Hi Jean,
I have been taking 300 mg Lamictal for several years. I have not had any side effects. Maybe give Lamictal more of a chance. Hope that helps.

I have been taking 300 mg Lamictal for several years. I have not had any side effects. Maybe give Lamictal more of a chance. Hope that helps.
