I have an appointment in two days with a surgeon to discuss my gallbladder issues. Problem is that I am not having that many symptoms any more. But that is because I am spending a lot of money on the right foods to eat. I am scared that he will think I am going to be a waste of his time and not suitable for surgery. How do you deal with your anxiety when stressed?

Laurie,

Don't be too anxious. I don't think the surgeon will find you to be a time waster. Remember he/she does get paid for your appointment. You are hiring him/her for an expert opinion. You are the customer. Also remember surgeons like to do surgery--that is their bread-and-butter. If he doesn't think that you need to have gall bladder surgery it is probably for good reason. Just ask lots of questions. Maybe write them down in advance so you don't forget what they are. Good luck!

Hi laurie23,
I am sorry I wasn't here earlier. Do you have an update on how things went with the doctor? I hope everything is going better for you.
