Doots,
...its interesting to me that noises are (increasingly) bothering you. The same thing happened to me when I was first put on Depakote about 2yrs ago. I was on 1500mg a day divided morning & night. The amazing thing was that it stopped my incessant racing thoughts that I had for I don't know how many years. My head was quiet...
I think that's why noises & especially blinking fluorescent lights began to bother me. I became more sensitive. Sometimes I would get so agitated that I realized I was taking very short rapid breaths. I've also struggled with having the ability to sit still for most of my life.
These 'symptoms' have left for the most part due to my learning how to focus on my breathing. In fact, that's what I do when all else fails ~ just breathe! Its like meditating & I don't get panic attacks anymore either.
Even though it could just be coincidence, I thought I'd say something because I could relate. If it isn't: it will get better.
