I'll be happy for a bit and then I'll of be on the edge of tears. This is happening today and yesterday at about 1 hour intervals. It is maddening. I have a face I to put on when I go shopping. I have to be out and about to run errands. I certainly don't want to break down in the middle of a conversation with a store clerk or especially pharmacist. I live in a very (very) small town. A lot of people know business worse yet know and pretend not to. Don't say I'm just thinking this. On at least three occasions I have found it out.
Back to my question. Is it cyclothymia to have three or more mood swings in a day...say up to ten? If so how in the world do you chart it?

Only thing I can answer on this unfortunately, is to rate your highest and lowest mood, and then put in the journal how many and describe them

Thank you. It is definitely Cyclothymia and my meds are definitely not keeping it smoothed out. I see my med doc on Friday and I am hopeful that she can get things done that I can't and make a phone call to my psych doc and maybe get something tweaked to at least help me sleep at night without nightmares. One night of uninterrupted sleep would help I think.
