I'm curious about others' experience with Paxil. I was on Paxil & Depakote together. Although I have had suicide ideation since I was about 3 years old, I never made any attempts until I was on Paxil.

I have read the Paxil can cause bad reactions in people who have Mania. I HATE Depakote bc it made me obese in 3 months and I've never been able to keep off the extra weight.

I was put on Paxil when I was in my early teens for depression. It made me suicidal and at the same time made me feel numb to the world and very disconnected. My parents had to intervene on my behalf and stop the medication because I couldn't see it until I started self-harming, which I hadn't done before talking the drugs.
