Trileptal dose increase and worsening of anxiety

Hello,
I have been taking Trileptal 300mg for a few weeks, which have helped me calm down, helped with anxiety. I increased my dosage to 600mg, it's my first day, and I have worsening anxiety, agitation, irritability. I take ativan every day but today, my ativan did not succeed in alleviating this anxiety.
Has anyone experienced a change in symptoms with a Trileptal increase?

I'm not familiar with Trileptal so I looked it up. Here's a link:
