Since July of last year, I have been taking 60 mgs of Latuda. Last week Thursday, so 5 days ago, I was increased to 80 mgs after a severe depressive episode. Can anyone share their experiences with Latuda or how long I should anticipate waiting for the increase to kick in & start showing signs of improvement?

Current medications as of 04-19-2016
04-06-1996 - Present: Wellbutrin XL, 300 mg. Once daily
07-01-2015 - Present: Latuda, 80 mg. Once daily

I took Latuda for a while, maybe a year, I thought it worked ok, but personally I liked seroquel better bc it has given me a better sense of peace and helped with visual and auditory hallucinations. Everyone has a different combo of meds that work for them. This is one of the meds that helps me out. Latuda is a good med but for me didn't work as well as it could.

educating yourself about your meds and how and why they work is important. Also getting books about Bipolar Disorder has been an immense help for me. The more info you have the better
