I just discovered this website and I'm really excited to start using the reminders. I'm currently using an app on my phone, but I feel like I'd rather just get texts. Much easier. Earlier this year I started treatment for pretty serious ADHD. I'd been struggling at home and at work to stay motivated and focused. After I spent an entire day hyperfocusing on researching the Titanic at work, I decided it was time to do something. I was actually diagnosed very early in life, but as I got older, I learned ways to cope. However, as I got even older (I'm 33) I noticed I was less able to cope. Medication truly helps. It's like night and day. I am my old self again and I have a lot of catching up to do. Just in case anyone is interested, I'm taking Wellbutrin and Focalin. This combination works great for me. It took a lot of trial and error to get on the right medication for me, but I'm finally at a good place. My only issue is that I'm very sensitive to light. I'm not sure what that's about.

Current medications as of 05-04-2018
07-01-2017 - Present: Bupropion, 300mg. Once per day
01-01-2018 - Present: Dexmethylphenidate, 15mg. Two times per day

Hi!
I have had ADHD since I was 3 years old.
I am so happy you are doing well. Personally, I have been off of ADHD meds since I was 11, due to wonky side effects. But I realize that the truly are helpful in some, or if not most of the cases.

Be proud of yourself!!
