Seroquel and fluid retention, Help me!!!

Hi everyone,
Ive gone up on my Seroquel since January, increasing from 100mg/day to 400mg/day. Noticed in the past few days however that my hands and feet are swollen. The Seroquel is doing a great job of keeping me sane and asleep at night. The other complicating factor is that it's gotten warm outside and maybe thats causing it? Maybe both are causing it? I dont know and its getting annoying. No one likes sausage fingers (and toes)

I take 200 mg of Seroquel myself and have had swollen feet in the not so recent past myself. I like how it keeps me asleep as well. Well, maybe within the past 6 months. I'm thinking it might the weather? Talk to your prescribing doc about that particular symptom as it could be due to something else instead. I hope that helps?! :)

It's gone down a lot since I wrote this post, definitely am going to bring it up with my doc :) it's gotten cooler and I'm feeling much better now

I was on seroquel and was high most times. Ran treadmill 2 hrs. Looked like I came out of swimming pool. Worked a months worth of work in a day. Surface slept. To get up and eat sweets during night hrs. Gained 30 pounds. It made me personality wise over bold in speech. I believe I was sweetly addicted. Normally I care about my figure. I am quiet. It took me over. That's my story with seroquel.

Oh this just made me laugh. I was always constipated. When I dropped a bottle of seroquel in the toilet. It turned into a brick. My husband said that stuff turned into a brick. No wonder you couldn't #@$%&*!

lol I guess my other Meds keep things moving along. Tho you're right sometimes things can be slow. Since the last time I posted I've moved from California to Texas. I think a lot of what I thought might have been fluid retention was due to the pollution and the bad food I was eating. I've started weight watchers and have lost 8 lbs so far
