Finally a great night

Saturday Night-July 10, I had not had this much fun in about 12 years. I went out and Karoaked. There was only a few people there so I got to sing alot of songs. 2 people sat at the table with me and we cut up, told dirty jokes, and I laughed so much. I didn't drink, but oh I wanted to so bad. I use to party all the time. Anyway, DeWayane does the Karoake, and he use to do it at the bar I went to before my health went down. I had always wanted to do a duet with him. Finally he sang "I Need You" by Lady Antebelum with me. It was so awesome, This night brought back so many happy memories of how I use to be a fun going person, lots of friends, all of us just good ole country red necks. But we love it. This was such a special night for me, it was magical. And this is what I have to start back doing, my singing cause it makes me so happy, and I get to make people happy too. They love to hear me sing. I was always told what a beautiful singing voice I had, but I never had any self esteem so I could not take a compliment. I know now that I was bless with a beautiful voice and I can make people smile and have a good time. I loved it. I hope I feel like going out again this weekend. I have to wait and see. But hopefully, & have more fun. Why? Because I deserve to be happy one way or another. Songs and Hugs to everyone*

TTruth... I am so happy to read your post! You actually got me to crack a smile. I have been in the dumps lately and your post opened up my thoughts and memories of great times that I have had with my friends. It has been five years, at least, but some friends and I used to get together every weekend and play yahtzee and then go to Karaoke... We had so much fun, I love thinking about those memories, thank you for sharing your Success Story... It not only made you happy but it put a big smile on my face....

pipi, I told you I use to could make people smile and laugh, so I am very glad it made you smile. Why don't you take a night out and go Karaoke? You will have a ball. I am going to try to go on Saturday nights, heck I might go Friday too if I am able and up to it, I am and will start having fun again and get out of my home more and socialize again. I just have to stay away from people that bring me down or trigger me. I hope I stay elevated so I will go full speed when I'm able to move. Have a good one, have some fun.
