I went to my new psychiatris Thursday, she is so great. She is nothing like I have ever seen in my life, as far as doctors go. It wasn't like the last one, which would just call me in his office, mumble a couple of words, write out my refill's and then send me out the door. Oh wow he took a whole 5 minutes with me each visit. My new one really listened and she talked to me about everything I needed some answers, as well as how she works. How I use to have to call the old one at times, and didn't get a call back, or the last time the lady on the phone said they had tried to call but could not get me. People, what am I suppose to do? Wait by the phone for days and scan all calls until they get me. My new doctor could not believe that they would do such a thing. She gave me the office number, and her own cell number if it was a emergency so she could get me in to see her. She also suggested that I go online and find out some things about the medicine - Savella- she told me this would work as a anti=depressant and it also should help with my pain from the firbomyalgia. So if anyone knows about this medicine, please reply to me and let me know, I would appreciate it so much. I forgot what all and else that she talked to me about, but she is also going to try to find me a new medical doctor, one that will talk and work with her on aa of my health problems. I am just in awe of how she treated me and how great she really is. So I am pretty sure she is going to work out for me and really try to help me and also not put me on a new medication that will react against one of my other ones. This makes me so happy. Too Bad all doctors can't be this caring and have so much compassion for someone.

That is such great news! I'm so glad to hear you had a good experience with your new doc! It makes every difference in the world to have someone really hear what you have to say about your past experiences and respond in such a positive way. I am soooo happy for you! And she is going to help you find a new medical doc, too. She sounds like an answer to your prayers!

yey, I am so happy for you!!!, I hope they get a handle on helping you with your pain. It means so much to have a doctor who will actually listen to you. Back in march I had an unfortunate affair. I was pregnant and didn't know it ectopic preg and burst in my fallopean tube and ended up in the hospital for 4 days because I bled so much into my belly. My doctor SUCKED I am glad that she saved my life but I wanted nothing to do with her after the surgery. It was like she looked at me like a text book with no compassion or answers to any of my questions. So, I know what it is like to have a bad doctor. Good luck and I will talk to you soon....

hey lunaefay, good to hear from you again. Thank you so much, and yes it makes a big difference to finally have a Psychiatris this great, I also have the best Therapist in the world. So if Dr.D can find me a great medical doctor, then that would be fantastic. Yes she was a answer to a prayer, too bad it took so long. But as the saying goes - Better Late Than Never. Life is finally getting good for me and I am so thankful. And I thank all of you people on here that help me, just like I try to help people if I can, even if it is to just get them to smile or laugh because these 2 things go a long way. Let me know when you start a new topic or post on someone so I can read it, and maybe I can help you too. Thanks again, *HUGS*

Hello again pipi, I just had finished posting you on another place. She wrote down the name 'Savella" for me to look up on the internet to read up on it. Do you know anything about it? I have and I am asking people if they know anything about this medication. She said it would be for a antidepressant and also for Fibromyalgia too. I am already on one medication for fibromyalgia, but with this illness it is just another one that causes you to live in chronic pain even being on meds. I am so sorry about your pregnancy episode. It sounds awful, and I know you went thru hell with all of this, and to top it off you had another bad doctor. I would like to know what happened to the oaths the doctors have to take before they graduate, to always have compassion for their patients? For me I think all these idiot doctors should be shot. Yea, I want to know too why they never have time to answer your questions? Excuse me for living, but ain't that what they get paid all them high dollar saleries for? All it is about is the all mighty dollar, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer. So do you have some good doctors now? I want ask questions about that episode because it may trigger you or you may not want to talk about it now, if you ever do get to the point of talking about it, I am here for you as I always will be, for what ever you need. If I lived near you I would give you a big hug and hold you and rock you like a baby, then you could cry if you wanted to until you could release some of the hurt and anger. I had a miscarriage when my daughter was 6, and I had been fixed and was not suppose to be able to get pregnant again, then the idiot doctors told me that there was a 1 in 100 chance of getting pregnant, well I should have known I would be that 1. It has always seemed like bad luck just loved to follow me around. I will tell you about this episode another time, because I really don't talk about it very often because of what happened and went on with it. But I hope you still have fun in Hawaii, and use plenty of Sun Block Protection so you won't get burned like a crisp. I don't think I would like to try to eat food called - "Ah-la-pipi on a stick" Now that's funny, I don't care who you are, that is funny-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-H-Ha-, oh pipi I can't laugh anymore you are about to make me pee in my pants from laughing so hard. Cool dude, I have no idea where I come up with some of the stuff I say, but if I can make someone laugh or myself laugh it is well worth it. *HUGS* to you and later Gator, after while crocidile.
