Levels are through the roof today... I cant deal with it... I'm trying to distance myself from my kids because I'm going to just explode. Trying the breathing exercises, taken a Xanax, not helping I may take another. Seriously can not wait for school to start.

Ami,
Have you ever discussed a longer acting benzodiazapam. The Xanax is great for cutting g off a panic attack, but they are only really active for a short time. I have noticed through your posts that you often have generalized anxiety as well. You might do better on Ativan or or clonazapam. These are longer acting and might give you more relief. Then save the Xanax for panic attacks. See what your Pdoc says

I was having a high anxiety day and the kids were just adding to it. If I'm right, it was the day I found out my van is beyond illegal... and my license is suspended and it just snowballed from that.

I'm also on Buspar, I take it twice a day. Some days are easy peasy and there are no problems, other days I'm just on edge all the time and the slightest thing will have me hyperventilating. Everything's been one thing after another lately.

Sorry to hear about your van Ami. I had my license suspended for driving without insurance...in the middle of an accident. I felt so lost. I can understand how those two things would put you through the roof.

I hope you have some easy days now. Glad to hear you are on something for anxiety. My last mania was brought on by extreme anxiety due to some really bad stuff going on in my life. We all have anxiety to some extent, but ongoing severe anxiety can be a trigger.

All my best Ami

Wendy
