I took Xanax which I had a bad suicde attempt with a few years ago. I now find that Vicodin works really good but I can't keep hustling those up and need a prescription from a pdoc. What do y'all suggest? I need something to chill me out I can't leave my house, or attend important functions. Thanks in advance.

Well, I don't think that is a long term solution. I know what you mean about Vicodin, it is a great mood booster and anxiety reducer, but I have been addicted. You build up a tolerance for it and need more and more. That is really not something you want to have happen. What is your experience with therapy? Maybe a no drug solution like therapy could really help.
