Hey,
Someone Suggested to check out this site said it would be good if I was looking to communicate with others or just to find relief that Im not the only one out there.
I have Bipolar I and am having trouble finding the right mixture of medication that would be suitable. I have also been having Severe Paranoia and moderate hallucinations that mainly occur in the morning and night.
Any suggestions or comfort would be greatly appreciated

I too have bipolar 1.
I know how hard it is to find that elusive mixture of meds that does the job. I know I looked for quite a while.
Thanks to a trip to a mental ward following a severe mixed mood at Thanksgiving where they tried a new drug for me I can now say that I am more "normal" than I ever have been.
That is not to say I don't have the odd mood flux now and then but they are much more gentle and shorter than they used to be.
So hang in there. The light at the end of the tunnel just might be a person with a candle come to show you the way.

Finding the proper med cocktail does often take a while, I would advise, I mean SUGGEST, that you let your pdoc know how you're responding to the current dosing, and do it soon.When I first started down the med trail, once a month didn't give my pdoc quite enough info and she did make an adjustment based on my phone calls.Now, we'll soometimes go three months between visits.
