Yea, as the title suggests, I had a hard time with coming up with a good title for this post. I guess it's because it's kind of a mix of how I have been doing, everything that's happened since my last post(in the other thread), and just an update on me in general.
Well...
Starting with yesterday...
Yesterday was pretty good. I hung out with my friend at our favourite restaurant and did some trainwatching while having our dinner(an early one-like 11AM!). Before that, however, I had my friend run me to her house so I could return a jar and to give her a juice drink I had bought her at the store earlier this week. She also wanted to give me another jar of soup(that's what was in the other jar) and to also give me more krautburgers. Anyways. We get the restaurant, and of course(like usual), my friend gets a paper. Nothing much in the news yesterday(at least nothing I didn't already know about). My friend got the burger special and I got the popcorn shrimp special for dinner. We both got coffee, and I was the one to remember to ask for water. We only got to see one train! That's oki, as I am sure we will eventually see more on another day. Anyways. I got home about close to 2ish. I took care of business(bathroom, then get into lounge clothes). I got online and got my credits on Absolute Bingo, then got off there. I then got on here, opened it in three tabs and I have been on here ever since then. I was working quite heavily on my "project" yesterday. I have had to get up constantly to change the CD out of my PS2(since that's the only way I can really play my music, right now), or to use the bathroom(coffee will do that to a person). I had a wonderful supper. I watched Jeopardy at six, because they were holding the Tournament of Champions this week. It's the finals, and I really wanted to see who won it. I love the tournaments, because then I really get a chance to shine in most subjects(I participate, too, and answer the clues). Afterwards, I planned on doing some cleaning. I had been putting it off for way too damn long, so I need to get on it ASAP. I have several things that need to be completed(will explain soon). I have also re-installed my emulators, and I have a few Pokémon games for it now. I have been training Pokémon in Diamond, as of late. That's Gen 4, the Sinnoh region. I have 2 gym badges so far, and 40some odd Pokémon registered in my Pokedex.
My "project" is going really well. I am almost through with the spiral notebook I started out with(u know, with the start of the "project"). So soon I will have to grab another one(the first one that my mom brought me, when I had first told her I needed some spiral notebooks for a HUGE "project" I had started-it's purple; the one I am using right now is red). It's coming along nicely. I'm still quite unsure of how long it will take to complete it or when it will be completed. I know one thing's for sure, there will be plenty of potentially toxic parts that I have to just get myself away from for a little while, so that way I don't get too overwhelmed and over triggered by them. I know, because I already just plowed through one the other day. I had to literally take a day's break from it. I'm continuing it right now. Had been all afternoon yesterday, too. At least it's keeping me busy and keeping me from making too many messes in my house. That's a plus, right?
Yesterday was my crush's 20th bday. He is in my favourite band. He plays guitar, and also does vocals too(he's not the lead vocalist in the band, one of his friends is). I've been a HUGE fan of his band's music since last year(I heard their music on one of the MC music channels).
I have a few hours or so until my dad calls. I have some things that need to get done before he does(include, unfortunately, taking the trash out-it will still be quite dark and a bit chilly, and probably a bit slippery as it had just snowed yesterday evening). Those things are picking up the living room and kitchen, putting away the stuff(finally) I got from the food bank(will explain soon), put the clean dishes from the dishwasher away, put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, wipe off counters in kitchen, wipe down stove in kitchen, wipe out microwave, wipe out the kitchen sink, pour some good smelling cleaner down the garbage disposal(it's starting to smell a bit rank), sweep kitchen floor, mop kitchen floor, put away hygiene products in bathroom, wipe down vanity in bathroom, wipe down the sink in the bathroom, mop the bathroom floor, pick up around my bedroom, make my bed, organize my bedside table, pick up in the bedroom closet, vacuum everywhere(even furniture-luckily I only have one piece of furniture in the house, the recliner), put the chairs back in their upright position on the terrace, and put the first Harry Potter book in the bathroom(for when I finish Twilight 4). I know it sounds like a lot, but it really ain't. It might also sound pretty hard, but it probably won't be. I'm pretty good at detailing when it come to cleaning. But it gets done, nonetheless.
My Pokémon training is actually going pretty well. I have 2 gym badges so far, and my starter Pokémon, Piplup, is now a Prinplup. I had caught a Budew, but he hasn't evolved into Roselia yet. I have a Geodude, but she has yet to level up to evolve(soon, I am hoping). I have a Buizel, but she's yet to evolve. I had(earlier on in my adventure) caught a Shinx, and she's been a Luxio for awhile now. I had also caught a Starly earlier in my adventure, and now he is a Staravia. I am past the Cycling Road now, and have also gotten through Mt. Coronet. I have yet to continue my adventure. I will get there eventually(most likely sometime this afternoon).
My trip to the food bank earlier this week was a good one. I didn't get a turkey again this year, but that's alright, maybe next year. I got some other good stuff. Tea, pita puffs, coconut chips(OMG they are so good!), razzleberry cake mix(so good, too), jalapeno popcorn, cereal, bisketti noodles, bisketti sauce(canned), canned tuna, tomato soup, beef stew(the big can), 2 cans of cranberry sauce, cream-style corn, canned green beans, applesauce, grapefruit juice(yum!), box milk, sweet peas, grapefruit, apples, corn on the cob, sweet potato chips, fresh green beans, romaine lettuce, and cabbage. I did good. The popcorn, coconut chips and the razzleberry cake is good!!! My mom is making good use of the cabbage. She already made my favourite soup(the way my grandma made it!), and krautburgers(as I have already mentioned), and she's going to make cabbage rolls(another thing my grandma used to make). My mom also boiled down the corn on the cob, then had my friend cut the corn off the cob. Then we all sat there and ate that corn. It was so tasty! She also had us take the tips off the fresh green beans so that she could make more dilly beans. Yum! One thing I opted out of was squash. Even though I absolutely adore squash and could eat a lot of it, I just didn't feel like loading up. The day I went, they were very generous and actually had on their boards for each food that said how much to take, that we could take as much as we wanted. I almost took three of everything(including the cake mix). I didn't. I took one of the cake mix, 2 of the coconut chips(my mom decided she didn't like it much, so she said when I was close to running out of my own box, that I could have the rest of hers), 2 of the popcorn, one of the tea(almost took 2 of those), one of the pita puffs, one bag of the sweet potato chips(almost took 2 of those), 1 bag full of corn on the cob(almost took like 3 because it ended up being so good), 1 bag of fresh green beans, 1 bag of apples(I didn't count how many I put in the bag, but now I realize I should have put more in or just grabbed another bag), 1 bag of romaine lettuce, 4 heads of cabbage. Sadly, they didn't have any bread to take that day(wonder why?), and I was really itching for a couple loaves. Ah, well...Next time, maybe. I go again in February, around Valentine's Day(depending what day that falls on; if it's a weekday, I go, and if it lands on a weekend, I will just go on a Friday).
Dangit, it's already 5.30ish! I should get off here and do at least a few of my housework chores before my dad calls...That and feed my telephone before it starts complaining "FEED ME DAMMIT!!!". I can't believe-well yea, I can-that I pulled an all-nighter. How the hell I managed to pull that off, I have no clue. I'm still wide the f*** awake. No sleep to be had. Ah, well...Maybe later. We shall see.
Another comment before I shut my yap.
