Very sorry about your mother. That must have been pretty traumatic, so much so that you could be susceptible to sudden bouts of mood changes.
You have not been on meds very long, and antidepressants typically take weeks to take effect. The dose of lamotrigine you are on is relatively low. It just doesn’t look like your mood is very stable. So talk to your doc about how you are feeling, there are a lot of different treatment options. Not everyone is so lucky as to be on the same med for years without requiring a change along the way. Are you seeing a primary care physician for your meds? If you are, I highly recommend seeing a psychiatrist instead. They can take time to get in with, but they are much more qualified to treat bipolar than a pcp.
