I'm currently taking 40 mgs of Prozac daily, and my appetite has plummeted. Other than that, I'm fine. I eat when I should (even though I'm not hungry), so my weight is fine,and my moods have been normal. Does anyone have a suggestion of different dosage or medication?

I have never been on prozac, but I have been on a few others (Celexa, Zoloft, and Lexapro) and none of those worked with me. They all had side effects that I could not handle. You may want to give this med a shot for about 4-6 weeks, and if you really cannot handle the effects of it, tell your MD and see if you should be on something else. Everyone has a different brain chemistry, so everyone needs something different. Good luck!

I wish my medications have that efect on me I staring on seroquel now and I so scared already to gain weight. :(
