Since I began charting my moods I am also learning alot about my eating habits- which are not good.
I'm noticing that I binge and purge while I'm PMS-ing and during my period. I realize what I'm doing, but I don't have the control factor to stop. I eat two days worth of food, go to multiple fast food restuarants, and clean out my refrigerator. Now, it's not like I'm wealthy, but I will spend my last bit of money to go and get that cheeseburger- and all it does is end up in the toilet.
I'm on meds that are proven to help with eating disorders for bipolar. When I've stopped the meds, the cycle gets worse. And having been keeping up with my meds, it's still present and mildly declined in severity.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this before, and what they did to stop it...
My cyclic bingeing is a form of self-injury as it is less noticable that mutilation.
