I definitely think there is some truth to this nutrition and lifestyle stuff. There's actually some exciting research being done trying to link mental illness to nutrient deficiencies. Those interested should actually check out the story/info behind a supplement called EM Power Plus. There's all sorts of info out there about it. Here's a link to a Discovery Channel documentary on it on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v.... (there's several parts, this is just the first one).
I actually just started to take this supplement and I think it's working. Although time will be the true test. Here's to a healthy lifestyle.

When I first decided to commit to a more natural treatment plan I did research this product and if money were no object I definitely would have tried it. Although it took a lot of time and trial and error I am happy with my more individualized plan. It is still a work in progress but I am soooooo much more stable and healthy than I ever was on prescription meds.
Due to a work related injury in May, I had a setback in my exercise habit which is just now getting more regular again. But even without exercise I have stayed out of severe or prolonged moderate depressions.

I just started it yesterday; and I know they say to wait a few weeks, but I swear I feel quite different; I kind of feel like when I take my Seroquel at night but it's only morning and midday when I take it- this coincides with what the support person told me.
Now that it's been a few months have you noticed an improvement? Also, what do you think of the telephone support? The woman I spoke with didn't seem too qualified to help people with mental illness- she was quite brusque and a bit defensive, although what she actually said made sense.
