prozac not working yet

I am on 250mg lamictal, 1-1/2 .05 clonzapen and going on day 18 of Prozac 20 mg. I have not been to work in 2 weeks. Pretty much Trapped in my house. Not much relief. Always feeling pit in stomache and just want to sleep and not wake up until I feel somewhat normal. Cut wrist with my shaver. Not all that bad. Very frustrated and always crying. Was wondering if Prozac takes long time to work? Help!

Thank You For Some Feedback! Today on day 24 Prozac and feeling some relief but have not gone back to work yet. The thought to go back to work creates anxiety for me. I had a bad attack there and that is my only thought that is why I am having a hard time going there. I also think I will not be in control and embaress myself. My son is also leaving for basic on the 30th of June which is alot of my anxiety as well. He is also been my shadow and alot of my support. I just want to lead somewhat of a normal life. My dr. is finally the only one who had diagnosed me correctly. She has tried several different meds for me. Before prozac I was on Wellbuterin which seemed to put me in this black hole. Thank You Again.

Wellbutrin has a tendency to increase anxiety and is pretty much no good for most BPs. My doctor told me this after almost a year of hospital misadventures. Talk about an irritation. -.-

I'm on Remeron and Celexa and they're worked wonders for me. Remeron is only for SEVERE depression and not mild-to-moderate depression. Talk to your doctor about your options.
