Strattera side affects??

So I'm a bit confused. For the last year I have been taking meds for bipolar. Talking to my doctor this week (i'm having a bit of a hard time with depression) he thinks he has misdiagnosed me. Reason being my manic are not all that bad, I can sleep and function --- just very fast! So, he began to think that maybe my problem is depression with ADHD coupled with very high anxiety.
prescribed this Strattera (sp??) to try. I am OFF THE WALL CRAZY! I am sleeping on and off, this morning got up at 3:30 wide awake and bored of trying to sleep. Cant wind down during the day enough to rest. Feel very tired.
So... my question is: Is this a normal side effect that goes away soon? Was I really Bipolar and this swung me into manic? What is happening???
