My pdoc is replacing my Abilify with Latuda I wasn't to happy with this at first since my insurance company had for some reason only they know had moved Abilify from level 2 to level 3 which means I pay $35 and it does not go toward my deductible. The Latuda needed prior authorization so I knew it was going to be $35. The docs son't pay so what do they care, right? The reason he changed me is because I was cycling from mildly or moderately hyped to mildly or moderately depressed in the space of 24 hours every day with high agitation and high anxiety. We had tried to change to Abilify dose around several ways (he was bound to make it work since two years of Lithium had been an epic fail). Since I have auditory hallucinations (I hear things that aren't there) & Latuda being a schizophrenic med he thought this would be the one. I have only been on it for three days now and do not feel right. I have been on everything in the last ten years and hospitalized 16 times in that period. Right now I also take Tegratol, Clonazepan, Seroquel, Topamax, & Vyvance. Anybody have any experiance with this medication (Latuda) and possible interactions with what I am taking?
