I only sleep good when i take PM pills why is this?

So for the past few months i have been taking motrin PMs.....also for the past few weeks I've been drinking sleepytime tea. When i take the pills i sleep so good thru the night minus the dreams i have but i still sleep well. Two nights in a row i tried to cut the use of the pills and try the sleepytime tea by itself....i end up gettin a headache both nights and tossing and turning, i did NOT sleep well at all without the pills. Last night i took the pills and i slept great. I dont know whats going on with me and sleep I guess its because of all the stress and recent break-up i had....my 4 year relationship ended about 2 1/2 months ago and i havent been myself. I've been having horrible dreams about my ex occasionally and i just CAN'T sleep without the pills i'm like addicted to them or something......Next week im going to a special doctor and im hoping they will be able to help me thru this....

Are you going to see a Sleep Doctor? I would suggest going to one. They can do a sleep study and hopefully learn why you are not able to sleep. Good luck!!!!

no more like a therapist. but maybe she can help me too i havent gotten into the sleep issues yet my next session is this week. but thank you i will see what she suggest to me about that.

My sleep is ALL screwed up ~ I sometimes wonder IF I would be bipolar at all IF I could sleep & wake consistently. I can hardly plan on doing a darn thing b/c of it.
