soothing ocean air

Yesterday my daughter from out of town surprised me and literally took me to the beach, we fed the seagulls and even though it was super windy and chilly............walking in the sand and listening to the sea sounds proved to be a very posiitive mood booster.......I will do this more often, especially when I have a down day. Walk on the beach and allow the senses to just absorb the moment. Peace and be well !!!

It seems like there are not often posts on this subject SO I thought I'd check it...I'm quite jealous! I'm living in Utah now for the past 1.5 years. Came from Oakland (I grew up in Berkeley) & I miss the ocean & the smell of the salt air...Point Reyes, Stinson Beach, Pacifica ~ the Pacific Coast is beautiful

I live on the coast and it seems it is always cold and windy. I pretty much grew up here so you would think I would be used to it, but still yearn for less wind and warmth. Going to Maui in June and can't wait to be at the beach with WARMTH.

i took a walk along the beach in my town is a boardwalk and there are condos with beautiful landscaping when you walk along the cement path the beach is on the other side of the cement path. I love the hydraeneas light blue, they remind me of my bleached out dungarees when i was a kid, they are this faded blue color and in some places white, the buds are so tiny that you would almost thing it was a different plant, but its not.. and my orange punkin colored kitty cat. The butterfly plants are beautiful about 8 feet high and deep purple a white butterfly was fluttering there. The sea grass plants are also spectacular. I got excited to see the first pretty iris in my town, it stood tall, and big and beautiful white with yellow in the center.
