Before my first Bipolar episode i had these attacks that felt like a jackhammer in my heart, throat constriction (painful), and an inability to breath. Had one again last week. I assumed I had a cardiac problem and wet to see a cardiologist. They put me on a halter monitor for a month and came up with nothing. Could these be heavy duty panic attacks?

Is it time for your medication or mine?

Yep, it can be anxiety/panic attacks.

If your Doc has cleared you for anything medical, sounds like a panic attack.

Did you have any of these attacks on the holter monitor?

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

No....when i was on the monitor nothing happened. I liken it to taking your car in to be fixed, the sounds and symptoms disappear in the garage.

LOL

That sounds typical, LOL.

anxiety problems are quite common these days given the kind of lifestyles that we all lead. Most of the times in such cases people tend to resort to medications as well as years and years of therapy, but in vain. There are a number of solutions that are also available online, claiming to work wonders for these problems, but in the end, they do not deliver the promised results at all. There are two main forms of treatment for anxiety disorder (GAD):
1.psychological therapy
2.medication
