I have pinched nerves in my arms and when it is hot & dry like it has been for a few weeks now I don't suffer so much. I take my medications like I am suppose to and I'm feeling fairly good since I found some strong pain meds to ease the pain in my arm.

Even though I usually don't have much pain when it is hot I just had a EMG (nerve conduction test) where the doctor shocks the nerves with a device that looks like what you would use against a attacker plus the doctor sticks a needle in my arm then move it around. The whole process last for about 1 hour and it is very painful. It caused my arm to spasm so bad that it caused my hand to curl up in what I call a claw & spasms so bad that instead of mild taps on the nerve it is a continous bang on the funny bone type of pain that does not give up for nearly 5 minutes.

I think I've been lucky so far that it doesn't last any longer than that but then my arm also tries to lock up so that it is bent up against my shoulder & the pain only intensifies as time goes on. I sure hope that when I have my blood / UA test with the VA that my marijuana level is so low that I can point this out to them and maybe get the VA to give me a small amount of 10 mg vicodin which I will take only as needed which means I won't take them every day unless the pain gets really bad.

I will take the tylenol that they do give me, & continue to use the pot infused icy/hot and heating pad to ease the pain. My trouble is that as I lay on the bed with my arm on the heating pad I get inspiration to write or create within my website and I end up coming in here in my office to do the work I come up with by laying still. My left hand is starting to jump and hurt so I better finish this and take a brake.
